Hello, My name is SHIA.  Don't let the haircut fool you - I'm a gorgeous Shih Tzu mix who will soon be my beautiful, furry self again.  There are so many families who would love to adopt a Shih Tzu but I'm going to be selective.  I'm looking for a home where I sleep in bed with my mom or dad so I can dream with my back up against you and your arm around me with my head on the pillow right next to you.  That's my definition of heaven; I'll stay in that position the entire night.  I don't have a lot of patience with kids under the age of 12 because I don't like these youngsters to squeeze or hug me.  My most comfortable environment would be a calmer, quieter home. I get so stressed with someone, especially small children, who can be rough and pull on me that I begin to lick my lips and then snap.  However, I absolutely love to be with my adult and to play and sit on your lap.  A female doggie sibling would be fine but I might view a male dog in my home as competition.
