Mr. Nakie is the sweetest Casanova cat ever. All he wants is sit on your lap as you pet and love on him 24/7. He will be very vocal if he doesn't think he is getting enough attention. He is declawed on his front paws. Mr. Nakie loves wearing sweaters or walking around in his full naked glory.

Mr. Nakie has some very special medical needs. He has irritable bowel disease (IBD), which is a life long issue that means he will always be on medicine, always need a special diet and always have loose stool. He also has all the typical Sphinx cat grooming needs such as bathing (he enjoys the water), protecting the skin, cleaning his ears every few days, etc. His current medical regime involves (2) pills daily, (1) can of special food daily mixed with a pre and pro biotic, and 1 shot every 2 weeks. We expect the shots to change to once a month but that may not happen. The shots are able to be administered at home, if you are comfortable doing so.

All that being said, he is the sweetest and most loving cat ever. He is what we refer to as a "Velcro" cat, meaning he is happiest on his human's lap, receiving constant attention. If he sounds like the cat for you and his medical needs don't phase you (he is very good for his meds, big plus!) Please feel free to apply. He is getting a lot of applications in and it will take a little time to find him the perfect home. Previous sphinx cat experience is a plus and/or medical background.

Please keep in mind that his medical needs and medical bills will be on-going for the rest of his life and Sphinx can live upwards of 20 years. His special prescription diet wet food is around $70.00 for a 24 day supply!
