Princess has grade 4 subluxating patellas, involving the bilateral back legs.  In laymen terms, both of the kneecaps are permanently dislocated.  Grade 3 and 4 animals exhibit a crouching, bowlegged stance with the feet turned inward and with most of the weight transferred to the front legs. There is no surgical intervention which can undertaken to correct this condition.

Princess is able to walk without any issues but we wouldn't recommend extended long walks, and she could possibly require maintenance medications in the future.  She would probably do best with a closely matched size dog for safety reasons.
