Elton
Hi there, Elton now is Bo or BoBo and he is a wonderful little beagle. He has gained weight and is coming out of his shell slowly. He still is as sweet as he can be. Gets along well with my other dog .
Nice
Lucaya is doing great she loves the water and her new brother Jager, they could play
for hours, she still gets excited for food time lol and loves her treats but her
favorite thing in the world is her homemade tow boat rope lol she loves being my
first mate when we respond to boats in distress and loves meeting new people

Chopper
Chopper (we call him Jasper) gets along well with all the animals. We have
3 cats and 2 dogs (including Jasper). He's not much of a cuddler, but he's
coming around (he tends to lay down just out of arms reach from you). He
seems pretty independent and isn't timid/scared of other animals (he
actually seems to have a bit of an 'alpha male' personality, but he's very
gentle with the cats, so we're not concerned there). He wrestles almost
non-stop with our 15mo lab (Elsa)... they get along great. He's learning
fetch, but sometimes he just likes to tumble in the grass with the ball
instead of retrieving it :)
House training is coming along well. He tends to only pee if we forget to
let him outside for too long of a period or if he's wrestling with Elsa and
gets too excited (a little comes out).
His crate training is great! Every time we leave or go to bed for the
night, I just say "Jasper, crate" and I point. He jumps off the couch, runs
across the room, gets in the crate and sits down to wait for me to come
shut the door (because he gets a treat when he does!).
He's also quite the digger... Elsa never dug a hole in her life, but Jasper
taught her how... so I have to watch them closely because they're tearing
up the yard. Trying to get him to put that energy into chasing a ball.
Leash training is very slow. As soon as the leash gets attached, he sits
down and won't move. Very very stubborn about it.
He also recently splashed around in the kiddie pool (chest deep on him).
Trying to build his water confidence... in a couple weeks I'll take him
swimming to see how he likes it.
He's also in very good health. Just had our final set of vaccines done last
week. He starts puppy school in 2 weeks :)
Attached a few pictures of him with Elsa and one of the cats. Always happy
to share more (I have to hold back, I could talk someones ear off!)

Daphne 2
Hello,
Well ..all is well - Daphne has been renamed Chloe . It is the one she came to when
we called it. So she actually named herself ! She has had her rabies shot and is
going to the small dog park we have close weekly.
She has picked right up on the potty training and sit. Still working on come, stay
and high five :)
She attracts attention wherever we go !
I am considering service training so as to visit the children's hospitals. We will
see in the next few months .
I will get on face book and send some pictures !
Thank you all again !!

Cody
I was asked by your rescue to send an update on our little guy. Well, as you can see from the photos, he is a very happy, very spoiled little boy.
He has been to the vet recently and he is now 6.2 pounds and seems right on track with his growth. He, of course, has no idea that he is little.
He is outgoing and playful. My Mother's dog, Lexi, is 52 pounds and 4 years old. She has reverted back to puppyhood and she and Oliver are the best of friends. He loves walking with his big dog friends and stopping at neighbors houses during our long walks to spread some "puppy love". He has more toys than any dog should have, but is very good at sharing. Seeing him and Lexi play tug-o-war is hysterical. She just stands still and he tries with all his might to pull her. Like I said, no idea he is little.
His personality is growing and he now thinks of himself as a watch dog. He also loves to stay in bed in the morning snuggling with his 16 pound cat. They play together and clean one another. When he goes out for a walk, the cat waits in the front window for him to return and then smothers him with sniffs and kisses.
Again, thank you for all that you do on behalf of these sweet creatures. We are very lucky to have found such a great organization. Keep up the good work!
