Chuy
Thank you so much for putting Max (Chuy) in our lives. He is an absolute bundle of
joy for my family! He has settled in quite well taking over our house. When we get
home for school his toys and blankets are thrown all over the house. I think he has
parties when no one is home! He is a super fast learner too! In less than a week he
learned how to use the doggy doors to go outside into the yard. He loves to soak in
the sun! We all have totally fallen in love with him! He is the best cuddler!
When we suddenly lost our rescue pug in October, i wasn't sure if getting
another pug was the best thing for my girls. It was so painful and the house was
so quiet. Max has brought us so much laughter and love. He is the perfect fit
and honestly his personality is completely opposite of our other pug. We all
have so much fun playing with him. He does have alot of energy! Good thing my 10
year old is always ready to wear him out!
Thank you again for everything you did for our Max and for us!
Teddy Pom Pom
Dear folks at JBAR,
Teddy Pom Pom has been a member of our family since December of 2015. At first Yoshi, our Japanese Chin was a bit intimidated by him, but we have all come to realize that Teddy's method of play includes a loud growl and bark, whereas Yoshi hardly makes a sound.
The 'boys' get along fairly well at this point.
Teddy still has some issues with Yoshi playing with toys--even if Teddy is no where near the toy when he picks it up. And we have to put Teddy into his crate to eat so that Yoshi gets to eat also. Otherwise, Teddy gobbles his own and goes after Yoshi's. We understand where that is coming from. He probably had to fight for food and toys before he came to JBAR.
He doesn't mind getting brushed, but doing his teeth is a bit of a battle. But it still gets done.
Teddy is a good boy and he and Yoshi watch out for each other and when we go walking, if one finds the other not near-by, he looks around and goes back for the other.
We are so glad that we adopted Teddy.
I wish I had a picture of how we sleep at night--Teddy has me on one side and Yoshi is on the other. Boy! Do I have trouble getting out of bed in the middle of the night!!
Attached are some pictures.

Zoolander
Zoolander is now Roscoe! He is doing wonderful and is getting along with
our resident cat, Doug, and our first dog. Josie. Josie was a little
reserved at first, but it's clear she loves having a playmate! Josie and
Roscoe are now inseparable! Roscoe starts puppy school on Sunday :-) . We
are currently renting our home but hope to be able to rescue again when we
buy in the next 2-3 years.
Delores
What a wonderful addition to the family. The cats initially frightened, but they
are quickly becoming friends. Getting used to her treat and toy preferences, bed
preferences - whatever is closest to me! She has lots of energy and has motivated
me to get out with her daily for long walks. Such a sweetie!
Aura
Hello,
We could not be any more in love with our Stella(Aura)!! She is a wonderful
addition to our family, she is a snuggle bug, she's playful, friendly, smart
& just such a mush. She gets lots of love from the whole family.
I feel so fortunate to have found Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue after much
searching. The Justin Bartlett Animal Hospital has also been wonderful.
Thank you for saving this baby girl so she could come join our family. We
will give her a very good life & I know she will always love us
unconditionally. Thank you, thank you!!
Warmest regards,
Kelly Carlson
