Bourbon

Bourbon is adjusting to his new life extremely well. He loves going on walks, swimming, and playing with all of his toys. He filled a void in our lives that was missing after having to put down our last dog. He took his first flight to his Arkansas house yesterday and was very good on the plane. It's hard to believe that a dog like him was left with no home. Now, he's one of the luckiest dogs around and has two homes!

He is doing amazing, getting bigger and very much loved! His name now is Harley, and he goes to school once a week and has learned his name, sit,stay,wait,release,and walking on my left . I think we are going to stay in school for the first year and get us all trained correctly! Thank you for giving us such a great opportunity! He is such a lover!! Jeff kosiba

Shanti

Hello! Shanti is now named Shula (after former Miami Dolphins coach, Don Shula). Shula is doing very well! We have hired a dog trainer and she has already learned how to sit and lay down. She's so loveable and affectionate. We feel so fortunate for having her. As you can see from the photos attached, she's had no problems making our bed her home. She also loves to sunbathe out in the balcony! We love her very much and we feel she loves us too! Cecilia and Scott

Betty Boo

Hey Kathy! Betty Boo is loving life at the Dixon-Mears household, she has brought such joy to all of us. I can't believe we have been so lucky to have this amazing little dog in our lives. I will forever be grateful to Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue for saving Betty Boo, taking such amazing care of her and resorting her health. I would like to ask how old you have to be in order to volunteer for your organization. My son is willing and able to help out. Jodie
