Nanette
Nanette is doing amazing! We love her more everyday. She's healthy and we
just had her first check-up with Dr. Lund last week. I've been feeding her
salmon food and so her coat is getting nice and shiny. Thanks for being a
great organization to adopt from!
Felix
Hi!
Felix is doing great! I'm now in love with Remi and Felix wants a little sister.
When would she be available?
Albany
Albany is becoming used to her new name, Sally. She is so sweet and
wonderful around guests and children. Sally has just been introduced to the
dog park and loves every minute running crazy with the other dogs. As you
are aware a Beagle mix is not easy to catch! After a while when she is truly
adjusted to my home I will be looking for another dog to keep her company.
I lost both of my previous dogs within the last year so Sally is a welcome
addition. Also, It was a pleasure working with Deana Hicks through the
process of fostering and then adopting.
Thank you,
Mary Lavalle
Kai the shih tzu
Kai (now Kyle) is doing great. There is another Kai in the family. He is
thriving, and visited our family vet, Dr. Rogers, at Harmony Animal Hospital last
week. Also received a "puppy cut" while there from the groomer. Everyone loves
his charming personality!
Kyle had a slight dietary reaction to Heart Gaurd heart worm medication this week
that was easily corrected by adding a teaspoon full of organic pumpkin purée to his
regular diet (Royal Canine Kibbles). He's on a low fat, low residue diet
supplemented with pumpkin fiber which makes care of his daily elimination needs very
manageable.
Kyle (Kai) is so energetic and loving. He enriches our lives daily, and we are so
grateful that Justin Bartlett fostered him until we met. Whatever special care
Kyle needs is far outweighed by the joy he brings to Diane and myself. ð
Thanks for asking, and I will try to send a picture later.
Feiro
Feiro has taken on a new moniker-Hamlet.
> Hammy has been a most welcome addition to our family. For a puppy, he is
> pretty well behaved. Potty training didn't take very long and is great
> when left home alone. We are a bit careful with his diet, we make sure he

> harmful.

> Hammy is also super playful, which is perfect because both of his parents
> are pretty active. He love to snuggle as well though. It's looking like
> Hamlet may become a city pup so he can join us while his Mommy completes
> her medical residency at Rush Medical University and his Daddy begins his
> PhD at DePaul University (both in Chicago).
