Quiggly Wiggly
Hi:
My husband and I started with JBAR as a new foster family. That lasted a
whole week as our first foster was two cute 3 month old lab/terrier mixes.
Needless to say we ended up being adoptive parents of Quiggly, now known as
Quigs. She has been an amazing addition to our family. We have a 10 year
old pit who was still missing his shepard sister Pink who passed away
almost a year ago. We were all heartbroken when she left us and we still
miss her today. Quigs has filled a huge void in our hearts as well as in
our dog Diesels heart. They play so very well together and get along
amazingly. She has made our family complete and we are so very grateful
for that.
Thank you for your organization and for allowing me to be an instant foster
failure. It's the best thing to fail at!! Lol.
Ora
Hello -
My family and I hit the jackpot when we found "Ora" (now Roxy) on the
Justin Barlett Animal Rescue website. This adorable female Golden/Yellow
Lab mix is such a blessing and has far exceeded all expectations of what a
great puppy could be. This sweet and wonderful child makes us all laugh and
smile constantly. She has acclimated perfectly with our other two dogs and
is learning from them every day. She is also in puppy school and is such a
fast learner it is mind boggling.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to bring this fabulous
little creature into our lives. We shall treasure her always! Please see
the attached pics of our little darling....she is growing so fast!
Sincerely,
Lisa Wittmann
Smiley
We changed his name to Alex, he is doing very good, nothing wrong at ALL we love him
very much, and might get another dog in the future.... thank you again for your
help......
Kody
Good afternoon. I am sorry for the delay. We have been very busy but I can catch up
on Kody. He has grown so much in the short time we have had him. He is already over
25 pounds! He is a sweet dog who is bringing a lot of energy and love to our family.
He is enjoying the dog park and has made friends with some other local labs. Kody
might be only 5 and a half months, but the rescue family who had him did a fantastic
job training and loving him. He is so sweet playful. We recently started taking him
to the beach and the adventure of training how to swim begins! Thank you again for
all your help and providing us with an amazing dog.
Pandora
Fiona (Pandora) is doing great and is such a sweet, loving little girl!! She is
learning so much as well, currently she does "sit", "down", "stay", "paw", "speak",
"crawl", "touch" and "leave it" (to a certain degree, that one is
hard...LOL)....such a super smart girl she is... we start puppy training classes on
July 5th at Petsmart for a little better leash etiquette and some better "leave
it's" when it comes to the kitties in the house...LOL... but other than that she is
a very good girl. In the next couple of months I am going to do the doggie DNA test
through on her through our vet as we would all love to know her breed(s), of course
everyone has their guesses! So far we suspect Jack Russell (for obvious
reasons...LOL)... but we also have boxer and pointer and even the mention of pit
bull from a employee at Petco in the running...LOL... we shall see! No matter what
she ends up being, we love her so much and she has quickly become a part of our
family! Thanks for much for the follow-up email! Take care and I will try my best to
remember periodically to send pics!
Best Regards, Samantha & Fiona
