Tinkie
To everyone at JBAR
Tinkie, now Jasmine, is doing so wonderfully! She loves everyone in her new home, both bipeds and quadrupeds. She sleeps comfortably between her humans each night and plays daily with her kitty siblings. Our only challenge is getting her fully trained to potty outside but she has had a big improvement in the last few days. She enjoys chasing the "cats meow" toy around in circles and engages our cat Andromeda to chase her in circles around the living room like it's a racetrack. It is one of the funniest thigs to watch. She has brought us all so much joy and we thank you. Merry Christmas.
Sincerely
Amy and Jacqueline Deuel-Sagaert

Rusty
Dear Kathy,
Our beloved rescue dog, Grover, died in June, and in October we knew we were ready. We weren't totally sure what we were looking for, except we wanted another perfect dog....healthy, personality, lovable, adorable, good with cats and children, not a barker, house trained, a good listener, a good walker, etc. We went to Carlin Park where many rescue organizations were present that day, but we were drawn to Justin Bartlett's "Foster to Adopt Program" after we met "Rusty" who began to bond with my husband. Rusty, a 16 pound Yorkie was found on the streets in Miami a few days earlier. I was skeptical, but I was assured that if it didn't work out, I would be getting Rusty ready for his new home. However, my husband and I knew he was the one, and knew with some training, patience, and love his permanent home would be ours. We changed his name to "Foster" after day 2, and he has slept with us ever since, and wakes us with his kisses. We have never seen such a happy devoted dog. He has given us such joy, and he makes us laugh. Thank you Justin Bartlett and all the volunteers. With appreciation, Marleen and Stu Hacker
Velvet Underground
Velvet is doing great! When I brought her home, it took me about a day and a half to get her out of her crate â sheâs not been back in it since. Sheâs mostly eating twice a day (her foster mom said that she usually only ate once a day). She loves walking around the neighborhood on her leash, and lazing about in bed.
Thanks to the foster mom, and to all of you!

Nixie
Dixie (Nixie) has settled into our family wonderfully! She has taken over our hearts and loves to be with our kids! She gets along with the cat just fine, well the cat just ignores her! Dixie is well behaved and has only eaten a few flip flops!
Thank for bringing Dixie into on our lives!
Sincerely,
The Jiggins Family
