Vixen
Vixen

Hey Kathy: Wow, we can't even tell you how much fun we've had with our two little boys already. We have 5 acres for them to enjoy and they are doing their best to explore every square inch of it. We renamed them to honor their German Shepherd heritage. Vixen, who looks like his German Shepherd mom, has been renamed (Shontzelicht) or Shontzie for short. Victor, who looks like his Golden Retriever daddy, has been renamed (Sigfried) or Siggy for short. We adopted them when they were 8 weeks and about 7 lbs each. Today they are 12 weeks old and are almost reaching 20 lbs each. We used to be able to pick them up very easily and carry them around like little babies..... that is not so easy any more with all the weight they are putting on....lol It is amazing to see the differences in their characters. Siggy is absolutely the leader and is already performing aggressive 'guard dog' duties, while Shontzie is definitely mama's boy and runs to her safety whenever he thinks he needs protection. One of their favorite things to do when "doggie daddy" comes home from work is to go for a swim because they know that after the swim they get to have a nice warm relaxing shower and then all "three" boys get to cuddle on the sofa in a nice clean towel and have a snooze while mom gets dinner ready. Attached is a photo that captured all three "boys" snoozing. Thank you again for all your help in making our dream come true with these lil' guys. Joanna & Roger

Kathy, Duke is fitting in well. The picture below shows a worn out puppy that has been playing with kids and his big brother wallaby all day. Thank you for a wonderful pup. Brian Gerard

Sundae
Sundae

Hi Kathy, I was very happy to receive your email. I tried emailing but I seem to be having trouble with my iPad. I will try to get a picture of Sundae (now Kaelee ) on it and post to the 'success stories'. In the meantime , she is an absolutely perfect fit for our family. She is sweet and very smart. We are very lucky to have her. Our older dog, Maggy, had a bit of adjustment in learning how to be a big sister. (She was the little sister up until recently when we had to put our older dog to sleep.) However, now they play constantly and Maggy is very patient with Kaelee . In my email that never went, I asked if it would be possible for me to sponsor Sierra, Kaelee's mom. I am not quite sure if you sponsor a certain dog, or if the donations go to a general fund. Thank you for all the work you do on behalf of these innocent animals. I will await your response. Barbara Balestrieri
