Good morning! Just writing to update on Baron (renamed Ranger), our new German Shepherd pup. I say pup but he is growing every day and is weighing in at just over 60 lbs already! His one floppy ear is still floppy and we think it adds character. His joy can be summed up in two words: tennis ball. He will fetch a tennis ball all day and night if he could. Although we're still working on getting him to drop it for us, our 2-ball relay system works great for now! He is always eager to jump in the car and go for a ride, whether to the dog park, the beach, or to keep me company at Starbucks. We have quickly fallen in love with this sweetie pie. He is truly a blessing and I feel nothing but gratitude for the family who gave him up and allowed us to find him. Thank you to everyone at JBAR! I follow you on Facebook and am inspired every day seeing the work that you do. You are all true heroes. I've attached some pictures of Ranger for you to enjoy :-) --

Bling

Hi Kathy, Bling, now known as Lexi is a blessing to our family. Max, my Jack Russell has bonded with her and they play and sleep together with me in the bed. One on either side, sometimes Lexi is on top of Max. Funny thing is Max doesn't bark so much when I leave, but Lexi does because I crate her so she doesn't get into mischief or chew on things. Lexi and I are going to start Puppy Training this week at Petsmart. Finding the proper harness for her was an adventure but we finally did. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have Lexi. It's been such a fun and exciting month since I adopted sweet baby Ren (adopted 1/25/14. She is growing, playing and eating like a champ. She's had all her shots, is weighing in at just over 5 lbs, and has settled in quite nicely here at home! She loves running around and playing with her big, 85 lb "brother from another mother" and has even found her sea legs, enjoying cruises on the intercoastal waterways and playtime at the sandbar! Everyone who meets her falls in love almost instantly. We love having her in our lives :)

Thanks so much for the follow up and for the puppy of course! Everything is going great, she's adjusting really well and has a fantastic disposition. Everything really is going wonderfully.
