Nugget
Hi Kathy,
Good to hear from you. Nugget is doing great. She is growing every day! Should have named her Piglet! We are attending training classes at Petsmart. Hopefully we will both pass... It's been a while since I went to school! I am really enjoying Nugget's companionship. It was lonely without a dog. Can't beat those puppy kisses. She is settling in nicely, loves to be outside, and is well socialized with people and animals. Her foster family really did a great job.
Regards to all at Justin Bartlett, keep up the good work.

Timmy
Hi Kathy,
On December 22nd I attended your pet adoption. I had recently lost my precious 13 year old Coco and was still grieving her loss. I walked around looking at all the precious dogs with no intention of adopting at that point ( although my nephew told me I should adopt another homeless pet right away). Then I saw Timmy. I asked if I could hold him. I was smothered with wet puppy kisses and I knew at that moment we were meant to be together.
Duke (my grandsons changed his name) is such a joy. He is active, funny and loving. He likes people, loves kids, and other dogs. Not sure about cats yet. He is now 3 and a half months old and weighs 20.7 pounds. Will send pictures when I figure out how to do it.
Thank you so much for my precious boy. Hope to bring him to one of your future adoptions at Petco. By the way, has his mother been adopted yet?
Thank you again.

Monkey
Hi Kathy,
My name is Lanette McNeece…. I am Kim’s mother, Kim & Lexi live with Her father and me.
We changed Monkey’s name to Loki…. Or I should say Kim did…. Guess she got it from some movie….. I never saw the movie, it took me several days for the name Loki to sink in….. but now I finally got it….
But now for the update… Loki is doing well, real well…. She is not fully housebroken yet, but we are working with her and hope she learns soon… she seems to be very smart… and she loves to play and run through the house with a toy in her mouth…. I think Loki is happy to be with us, especially at meal time …..I know your not supposed to feed them any table food, but ya know life is short and a little people food mixed with her Iams puppy food seems to make her extra happy at meal time….
Loki is not an only pet (like only child) we have three cats…. Nemo, Missy & Shadow (who are not nuts about Loki, but in time will get used to her) and my granddaughter has two pet rats…. It gets a little crazy around here from time to time….. but it is all good.
I think there should be a photo of Loki that I attached to this email….. at least I tried to attach one…. I am not all that sharp when it comes to the computer…….. Kim may have answered your email already but they had said the only photos they had of Loki are on their phones…. And we don’t know how to send them…. But I still use my camera and have a few photos of her so thought I would answer your email also…..
Take care…… Lanette
Cane

Vali
Gunner is doing great and adjusting very well to her furrever home! This is her and her new big brother Bali on their favorite resting spot.
She loves riding in the truck, playing in the sand at the beach and is having a lot of fun in her weekly puppy training classes. We are all learning a lot. Sit, stay, come and watch just to name a few!
She is adjusting well to our cat, Bruiser... though she wants to play with him more often than he would probably like. But as soon as Gunner takes a nap, he's first to go curl up right next to her. (I'll send a picture of that as well)
She is a cuddle bug and all of us are so happy she is part of our family.
