Symphony
Hi Kathy,
thank you for asking about Symphony, his new name is Charlie and he is doing great! I just posted some pics on JBAR's FB page ;-)
Samson
Hello,
Thank you, Samson is doing great. He is learning so much, and is very well mannered. He still is a little shy, but we are helping to break him outta that shell. He socializes very well, and is potty trained. He loves his new forever home, and he loves his family.
I am on the Facebook page, and I recently posted pics and a "pupdate" which was posted on the Justin Bartlett wall for others to see. The next "pupdate" I will make sure to post it to both the website and Facebook.
My son and I are thinking to fill out volunteer forms and start helping out where we can. His big dream is to become a vet, and I think this would be great for him.
Until next time,
Chris
Lucy
Hi Kathy,
We can't thank you enough for our girl Lucy and the great work you all do at Justin Bartlett. Lucy is doing very well and is the sweetest most gentle, loving and beautiful Lab ever! She really stole our hearts and has adjusted well since the first day we brought her home. She loves to cuddle and put her head on your lap and "paw" you for pets, which she gets almost non-stop. All of our neighbors love Lucy and look for her everyday. She is an absolute sweetheart. We just can't say enough about her and she brings us great joy every minute of the day! Lucy is a very smart girl and already came with a bag of tricks which she teaches us!!! We saw pictures of Lucy's pups ,Linus, Leddy and Louis, on JB Animal Success Stories and they all look like the mirror image of mommy Lucy, and should have the same personality and gentleness of Lucy.Lucy is as gentle as a seeing-eye dog and I will probably take her to my office (psychologist) as she would be a real pleasure for my patients and Lucy loves people. Lucy is truly a blessing to us and again, we thank you for her rescue and Deana for all her work, dedication and kindness and thanks to her wonderful foster mom Jill. Maryann and Bob Leifer
Manny
Hi Kathy,
I'd love to tell you about my little guy, Archie (formerly known as Manny). He is an absolute delight and I can't imagine life without him! I'm recently retired and my plan was to wait a year before adopting. I've been looking at the website on and off for months just "looking". I was hoping to get a little bulldog eventually. Well, just before Christmas when I checked out the website, "Manny" looked right into my heart and told me I was supposed to love him forever. And he was right! He's just the sweetest little guy in the world (even if he isn't a bulldog!).
I'm in love with this little guy. He's so well behaved and a wonderful little companion who's brought such joy into my life. I urge anyone considering getting a dog to ADOPT!
Julie
Jill
Hi Kathy!
Well, we are LOVING "Moonshine" and she is happy and adjusted well. We are STILL having trouble with the housebreaking, and are trying patiently for her to get it. I hope sooner than later. However, in the meantime, all is well and she has a big fenced in back yard to play in and is being well cared for. We love her and are looking forward to less crate time!
We'll keep you updated!!!
Andi
