Hi Kathy, We have been meaning to write you for awhile now, thank you for the reminder email! We have had two other furry family members and lost both to cancer; one in 2007 - 9 years old, and the other in 2011 - 12 years old. We have been going to many adoption events with other organizations as well often thought we might adopt again but seemed to leave without doing so. Then on November 3rd, my husband -Jeff, daughter -Julianna and myself were at an event and it was love at first sight!!! We adopted our furry friend Benny (formerly known as Kinko); and if I do say so myself, I think he is loving his Fur-ever home too!!!! The first couple weeks he seemed to eat a certain palm nut that he had a hard time digesting and had to visit the Vet and on another occasion even go to the hospital,Thanksgiving Day, and spend the night. So needless to say he has cost us some money but the love and affection he has given us is truly well worth every penny!! It is amazing that Benny has only been in our home for a little over a month now because the LOVE AND JOY that he has given us in this short period of time is incredible! He is very obedient; knows certain commands and walks very well on a leash! Benny loves loves to play, run and fetch! He has many toys and seems to play with ALL of them EVERYDAY!!! We are truly looking forward to a lifetime together with him!

Thanks so much for your follow up email. Misty (we changed her name a tad...) is a wonderful addition to our family! She's very well behaved and loves being in the "midst" of things! She adjusted well when our eldest son came home from college for Thanksgiving, too. Thanks for all you and your organization do to help families find their "missing" family member. Thanks! De

Good afternoon Kathy. I'm so sorry for the delay in writing you but it had been a crazy few weeks. Bruno is great and we are loving him so much. It took a few days for him to get adjusted but he is doing fine now. He seems very happy and healthy. Thank you again for choosing us. Have a great holidays and hope all is well with you.
