Inky

Inky was born in our house on March 22, 2016. We had 2 stays that I trapped, give birth within 24 hours of each other. Inkys mom had 4 and the other cat had 5. I had 9 kittens in here plus my 5 was very overwhelming. Deena help find fosters for 6 of them. All the kittens were adopted except poor Inky. He was not happy at all going to the adoption event on Saturdays, he would growl and bite. That is so not him. So, my boyfriend and I decided to just adopt him. I know it is hard to place older cats and he was 8 months old then. He is quite the character. He is funny and silly and likes to torment my calico, that is old and does not like to be bothered, so I run a lot of interference. I am so glad we have him as out number 6. Pepper

Pepper (now Boo) is currently asking for attention which is being liberally given. He loves his sister Piper (now Marley). They spend a lot of time together playing, chasing each other, and napping together. They love their Hanukkah and Christmas toys. Marley is a big talker. Boo is quieter with a small voice and meow which is very cute. They have free run of the house and they make the most of it. Their humans love watching them play and nap and laugh all the time at their cuteness. Happy New Year to you all.

Cassidy

It's been about 1 month since we adopted our sweet girl, Cassidy into our family. She joined two 11 year old rescues who are about 20 Lbs bigger. Cassidy has brought some life into our 11 year old dogs. She even has our Lexi, who has arthritis, running around the backyard again! She is the most affectionate dog we've ever had. She has so much love that she never leaves anyone neglected. We even got lucky because Cassidy, was house trained! Bonus! We are so in love with Cassidy, and are very grateful to Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue for rescuing our family! We couldn't be happier with our new addition to our family. Samantha

Hello, Samantha is doing great. She has a new name, Maggie, and she had a wonderful first Christmas in her new home. She's learning her basic commands: her favorite is sit. When she first came home, we did find that she had hookworms, roundworms, and tapeworms. She was sick for a few days because of the quantities. She was treated right away and hasn't had a problem since. Please see her attached Christmas photo to see how big she's gotten. I hope everyone had a happy holiday and will have a happy new year. Storm

We actually named "Storm" Kona whom is 4 months old now and is doing fantastic! She loves our 4 boys so much and of course brings the entire family so much joy!! Take care, The Heiberg's
